2016 RESOLUTIONS // METAS 2016

Comienza un nuevo año y con ello nuevos sueños, metas por alcanzar; si! si! esa sensación de este año lograr cosas. Como mompreneur, este 2016 tengo que ser realista!! Reduciré objetivos a sencillos logros. Por el momento, y en ropa “lounge“ la primera de este año sería lograr arreglarme aún estando en casa con bebé, si tener tiempo para mi! Y para ser rápida, enlisto los demás.

• Efocarme en mi familia

• Atención para mi (apariencia y salud)

• Lanzar una colección nueva

• Crecer proveedores OY!

• Lograr una venta wholesale

• Lograr crecer la atención de prensa y fans

Gracias a todos por lograr un buen 2015! A los que creyeron, leyeron, dieron likes y comentarios. Que este 2016 rompan traseros! y sea el mejor. Cuales son sus planes? Espero piensen positivo y que todo lo puedan!

A new year begins and with it new dreams, goals to accomplish; yeah! that feeling to bring it off this year. Like a mompreneur, this 2016 i have to be realistic!! Reducing goals to simple achievements. By the moment, and in lounge clothes, the first will have to be, to prim myself even staying at home with the baby, yes to have time for me! And to be fast, im enlisting the others.

HER FIRST CHRISTMAS & SLOWLIVING // SU PRIMERA NAVIDAD & TIEMPO EN FAMILIA

Este año nuestra navidad fue diferente. Ahora fuimos 3. La primera de E.I. fue sencilla, un arbolito mini con esferas de navidades pasadas y unos ornamentos nuevos, pero para ella era una nueva experiencia. Amaba verlo y tocar las esferas. Coincidimos sólo tener para ella un árbol pequeño y simple, además de pocos juguetes y alguna ropa. Por el momento pensamos era todo lo que necesitaba. La música de esta mágica epoca nos hizo sentir el espiritu navideño.

Por mi parte como mamá y emprendedora decidí optar por un poco de (slowliving) y disfrutar momentos en familia. No produje nada nuevo, no tome muchas fotos estilizando ideas de regalos y saque sólo una pequeña estrategia, que aún así fue un poco de trabajo. Disfrute esos pequeños detalles, como su carita al abrir su primer regalo; fue un momento muy valioso. Ya habrá otro año para nuevos diseños, nuevas campañas, pero por el momento no quise perderme este en familia. Esta mompreneur ha tenido que recortar actividades por otras más importantes. Les comparto un pequeño instante de lo que fue.

This year our christmas was different. Now we where 3. The first one for E.I. was simple, a mini tree with past year ornaments and some new, but for her it was a new experience. She loved seeing it and touching the spheres. We thought it was right to just have a small tree and simple one, and not too much toys and some clothing. For the moment its just what she needed. Christmas music got us in the mood.

This mompreneur decided to do some slowliving and enjoy family time. I didnt make any new product, and no styling for gift ideas, just made a small strategy, and that was quite a job too. I enjoy those details, like her little face opening her first gift; it was a valuable moment. There will be another year for new designs, new campaign, but for now i didnt want to miss out. I had to minimize activities for more importtant ones. Sharing a little insta of what it was.

Estoy lista para esa fecha tan linda del año, esos tiempos de familia, amor y descanso, y buena comida. MOMS LIFE // VIDA DE MAMÁ

Ser mamá cambia muchas prioridades, les comente en el pasado post que los últimos meses he aceptado pocos proyectos ya que me es difícil, aunque trabaje en las noches, terminar en tiempo, por que una vida de mamá nada se sabe, nada se programa. Soy selectiva en que trabajos puedo y debo hacer, que no sean en tiempos cortos o de urgencias, que terminen en caos y estress. Así que me pidieron un trabajo en arte en papel para una tienda local en Costa Rica. Logre entregar un trabajo interesante, que les muestro pronto. Aquí E.I. me acompaño a entregar este lindo proyecto. En sus 5 meses aprovechamos este lugar tan lindo para tomarnos una foto. Que planes tienen para este fin de semana? Espero sea en familia.

Being a mom changes priorities, i wrote in last post about accepting less projects in this past months for its now difficult, although i work at nights, to follow due dates, because in a moms life nothing is wroten and schedule. Im selective in those projects that can be done or accepted, they are not to be done in short time or emergency ones, they only end in caos and stress. So i was ask for a paper art one for a local shop here in Costa Rica. I achieved to deliver an interesting project, that i will show soon. Here E.I. went with me to deliver. She turn 5 months so we took this picture in this wounderful place. What are your plans for the weekend? Hope it family time.

WORK & PARENTHOOD

Las últimas semanas antes del viaje a casa de mis papas, han sido lentos, me ha sido difícil trabajar, y tome la decisión de tomar pocos proyectos. Les cuento que tuve la oportunidad de dar un taller sobre creación de modelo de negocios para Pymes creativas. Pero esos días fueron días complicados, y ese en particular termino siendo no muy placentero, entonces decidí no hacer más actividades hasta que E.I. sea un poco más grande o tome ya alimentos además de su leche para que ella y mi esposo no pasen por momentos sin mamá. Esperaré a que el tiempo sea el correcto. Cuantas mamás por ahí que tengan la solución a equilibrar esto? Disfruten los días.

The past weeks before the trip to my parents, have been slow, and non work time, so i decided to take less projects. I have to share the opportunity i had to give a workshop about business model in creative business. Those days were complicated, and that day in particular ended no so good, so i decided to not make more activities till E.I. is bigger and eats proper food besides milk. So she and my husband dont have to live moments without mom. I will wait for the perfect moment. How many moms out there that have a solution to balance this? Enjoy this days.
