RK DESIGN BRAND OWNER & JEWELRY MAKER
HOW WAS BLOGGING INFLUENCED YOUR CREATIVE JOURNEY?
I have been interested for many years in design and decoration.
When I started blogging It was first only a hobby and eventually it turned into a work.
When I saw how my style inspired others it gave me confidence to try my own business. Soon my shop began to be so busy that I decided to outsource it and now you can get my poster and others from Society6´s /rkdesign site.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
I can get a wounderful idea somewhere when I least expect it.
I also love seeing beautiful pictures, art, and listening music.
HOW YOU BALANCE FAMILY AND YOUR JEWELRY AND BLOGGING BUSINESS?
Because I'm pretty ambitious, I did not want to blog If I can not write and do it a 100 per cent.
After I stopped blogging a small hole was left in my life, but also a lot of time.
Actually more than I understood.
I knew I was busy, and I just had to weed out some things and do them later so I could kept the balance in my life.
I am not one of those people who can concentrate to many things at the same time. Today, I am studying interior design in addition to my work and I also prepare jewelries to my bigcartel store.
I am really happy about that!
BLOGGER & JEWELRY DESIGNER
Blogging has been an integral part of my creative journey. It had introduced me to things that are new and exciting, it's been a sort of journal of my process and it has connected me with people all over the world who have similar passions.
LA PETITE MAG
MAGAZINE OWNER & EDITOR
HOW WAS BLOGGING INFLUENCED YOUR CREATIVE JOURNEY?
Blogging has and will always inspire my creative journey! I find so much Inspiration via others blogs, Pinterest, Instagram and more! I have come to realize that finding inspiration is essential for success. The more that I find myself inspired the more creative ideas seem to flow.
I started a blog called Kenziepoo almost 7 years ago, which inspired me to start my magazine La Petite. I would have never been inspired to create La Petite if it wasn’t for my little blog Kenziepoo.
So many things Inspire me! I would say blogs, magazines, traveling, my friends & family are all top on my list!
In the beginning it was quite hard to balance my business & family life. Being a full time working Mom was hard! I quickly came up with a plan in which I organized certain days where I focused on my Family and other days I focused more on work. This really worked for me! I would also work a lot when my daughter was at school. This helped me in my workhome balance.
While I'm away i have interview some entrepreneur mummas that inspire me. In my entrepreneur process, not easy but satisfactory i have always look for BALANCE to things in life and business, but i have always wonder how does this moms manage to do this venture and look good, besides doing all they do with family and accomplish their dream and have balance. In this blog i have tried to chat my own anecdotes but also the purpose of it is to inspire, and using the occasion of Costa Rica mothers month i interview this entrepreneur moms of all different places of the world. And also you could understand why we blog and connect with other ones we don't even know. Hope it inspires you.

This past weeks besides the habitual things like packaging for retailers, planning seasons, taking pictures and maintaining social media, i was working in the image of the brand as well as international (OY!) and national (OH yei!).
I work on the fanpage to maintain a mood and a constant branding, i made some layouts to just drop pictures, type info, to keep same proportions and similiraty in composition. I updated the monogram in the profile picture and I'm using the slogan whenever is possible. Beside constancy with this resource i cut off process to have more time for other important things. I also perfectly organize all the photos in the actual albums so they could be find easily and show all work made like a service and product portfolio provided. I also organize and mention the tabs for social media so nobody misses al that happens behind scenes.
I work in re-brand, from the package tag sticker and social media. I still have to add the brand to the blog, but i maintained the essence with elements and style. The shops where also worked (etsy shop - society6 shop), but there are still so much details to work on. I made some post cards to thanks all the purchases. And the package needs to be work too soon.
